I went in Zeus’ cabin. There was two floors to it. I looked in the first room and saw there was a lot of rooms in it. It was bigger than all of the other cabins in the whole camp. I went to the dining room and there was the biggest buffet I have ever seen. There was so much food. Mashed potatoes, corn on a cob, grandma’s old fashioned apple pie. I was in love with this camp already! Afterwards I went to the living room. I wondered if there was a tv here and I saw the biggest flat screen I have ever seen. I also saw two water beds, a big sofa, and a table in front of the sofa. Was I dreaming? This was the best thing ever. I saw something that caught my attention the most. It was a PS7. PS5 haven’t come out yet and I already have the seventh console of the whole series. I turned it on and felt like I was in the future. You could make it be in 3D. I found a game that haven’t even come out yet. It was called The Adventure in Olympus 3. The first game didn’t even come out yet so I was amazed. I loved how they got to put a chimney in the cabin son I wouldn’t get cold (not that I will) .

I went to the second floor and saw 5 different rooms for 2 or maybe even 3 people in each room. There was a tv in each room, a computer, 3 beds, 2 water beds, paintings made by the Apollo kids, statues made by Hephaestus’ kids, a golden apple that if you took, another one will appear to replace it so basically they can never stop coming. I took one and ate it. I felt stronger than ever. I looked and saw that I was invisible. I ran to go through a wall but crashed. I thought I could go through walls but I couldn’t. I fell down but then realized it didn’t hurt. The golden apple had protected me from getting hurt.

Then I heard the sound of the satyrs blowing their horns.

“Time to play The Last Camper Standing!”, said a parrot in one of the clocks downstairs.

“Umm thanks?”, I said. I was a bit shocked how neat this place was. I loved it. I could fake being sick and stay here for the rest of the Summer but then I realized what would happen if they found out. They could get me out of the camp and then some kind of monster would totally terminate me.

I went outside and saw Amelia.

“Come on Adams!” Amelia shouted, “you don’t want to miss The Last Camper Standing match we do every sunday.”

I looked at her. “What is this Last Camper Standing game?” I asked.

“Oh, basically we just fight to the death with our weapons.”

I swallowed hard. “;Like there is no way turning back?”

“No silly!” Amelia said, “We don’t literary fight to death, well we do die but we just respawn in the seats of the arena we are fighting in.”

I was a little calm now. I wasn’t a great fan of this game already. What happens if we don’t return? What if we do die for sure? I felt like faking my death wouldn’t help since I would magically teleport to the top of the arena.

We went to the arena and then I saw the campers we were going to face. There was the Ares kids who looked like they just destroyed a whole city. Those guys would kill me in the first five seconds of the whole game. Then there was the Hermes kids. They didn’t look as though. But then I saw their legs. They had leg muscles. Their legs looked like they were some athletes from the Olympics. They were pretty tall and had yellow hair. They kept on staring at their Apollo cousins who had their bows ready to fight. I can see that the Apollo kids had some advantage since they had bows. Amelia was there, with a bow. She had some weird looking arrows but she had painted her face like some kind of military soilder would. I looked at Michael. He was there watching me. He wasn’t much of a fighter so he just stood there watching, happy he wouldn’t go through what I would experience. Then there was Luke in Poseidon’s section and Jane in Hades’ section. They were the only ones but they were strong.

“Here you go Adams Walker, the great son of Zeus,” said one of the Hephaestus’ kids.

“Thanks dude!” I said back. He gave me a sword, a golden sword. It had a little symbol in the handle part of the sword. The symbol was an eagle and a lightning bolt in the back of it. It was shiny and I felt it would be pretty helpful. It looks like I would have to learn to fight really. I swung my sword back and forth.

“En Garde!” I yelled. I was having so much fun I forgot what I was so scared of. I looked at all my opponents. Each camper from each cabin was a team. The last camper from that cabin makes the whole cabin win.

“Campers!” yelled Mr. Watson, “Get ready!”

All campers got ready.

“Get set!”

All campers got their swords ready.

“GO!”

The campers ran at each other. One of the Hermes kids kicked a guy from the Hercules cabin up to the air and then hit the ground hard. He laid down on the floor and then turned into golden ashes. He was teleported to the top of the arena and just sat there watching. I went towards one of the Apollo kids but then he shot me in the leg. I felt like crying. The Aphrodite kids were just watching, looking at the pretty flowers. They didn’t care about the game. They were playing a game of whoever spotted a lucky clover first would win all the flowers they had brought.

One of the Ares’ kids went towards a satyr warrior but the satyr dodge and punched the Ares kid. The Ares kid afterwards got mad and then cut the satyr’s arm off. The satyr then turned into golden ashes and got teleported to the top of the arena. I ambushed the Ares kid and then grabbed my sword and then it went right through his chest. Blood spilled as he then turned to golden ashes. One of the Athena kids was invisible and then grabbed his spear and threw it right to my back.

“Ahh!” I screamed, “Ah shoot!” I felt like I was going to die. The time had come. The Athena kid then pushed me down and pulled of his spear off my back.

“Ahh, no!” I yelled. I was going to die now. He put his spear up ready to put it back in my back until an arrow shot him right in the heart. He fell over and died. I looked and it was Amelia! She grabbed one of her arrows and pointed right at me.

“Umm Amelia?” I said, “What are you doing?”

“We are playing by the rules but don’t worry I won’t shoot you,” she said, “but both of us will fight in the end of the match.” She put down her bow and went back to battle. I was surprised that I was going to battle a girl. I am not saying that girls aren’t strong but I don’t really want to battle Amelia.

I stood up. A shoot it hurt so much! My blood spilled down and I felt like I couldn’t battle anymore. The I was surrounded by a bunch of Ares kids. Uh-oh I thought, how am I going to get out of here? Then I felt like there was something in my hand. It was one of the ultimate golden apples from my cabin. I ate the whole thing and healed. I turned invisible and stronger. The Ares kids looked confused.

“Where is the little rat?” one of them said, “he just disappeared!”

“Did he die?” another one said, “he must have.”

I grabbed my sword and swung it right through that Ares kid who called me a rat. He turned into ashes and went away. I ran for my life. I didn’t want to get caught. The thing is my sword couldn’t turn invisible so you could see a sword flying all over the place, destroying random campers. Then the campers found out I was invisible.

I hid behind some kind tree that had fell over. I saw another of Athena’s kids with a magical sword that light up. It cut the tree in half and then she went towards me. I ran. One of the Hermes kids caught me and ambushed me. He then kicked me way up high in the air. I knew this was going to be the last of me. I fell to the ground and then I saw Luke using his water powers. He spawned a wave that washed almost everyone out. Jane spawned five hellhounds that jumped on top of most campers and turned them into dust. There was now only fourteen campers left. The hellhounds then disappeared. I saw that Amelia was one of the only Apollo kids left. Most of the campers left were from Hermes’ cabin. I grabbed my sword and threw it to one of the Hermes kids. They quickly dodged it but then got attacked by Luke’s sword. There was now only four campers left. I grabbed my sword and went towards Luke, Jane, and Amelia. This game is pretty intense. Amelia shot Luke in the leg and then he vanished. Jane went towards me but Amelia shot him. It was only me and Amelia.

“I will not lose but you I don’t really want to win either,” I said.

“Wow, don’t take this game too seriously man,” Amelia exclaimed.

I didn’t want to fight her but then no one was going to win. I put my sword down and looked at her. She then put her bow down and looked at me. We stared at each other for a long time.

“Well, if you don’t fight then I win,” Amelia grabbed her bow and shot me.

“You tricked me why?” I said.

“Well you were taking too much time,” Amelia said.

“Farewell,” I said and then I vanished.

I looked around me and I was suddenly on top of the arena. I watched as the campers shouted and cheered for Amelia. I was so close!

“Adams I need to tell you something,” Mr. Watson said, “it looks like the gos may actually start a war sooner or later.”

“But is it because of me?” I asked.

“No, well… yes Adams.”

“What should I do?”

“You shall go bring peace to the gods and stop this war.”

“So what is this really about?”

“Adams Walker,” Mr. Watson , “All I am telling you is that you are going to go on a quest.”

I am Offered a Quest

“I am going to the Underworld?” I said.

“It is not necessary Adams to go the Underworld?” Mr. Watson said.

“I just don’t understand.”

“You will have to go to Olympus and stop the gods from having war. The world will get destroyed if the gods fight and have a war.”

“Is all that going to happen if I don’t stop them?”

“Yes Adams!”

“But why haven’t other campers tried to stop them before?”

“Because Adams, the journey is really dangerous and I bet one of the strongest of all campers would die from any obstacles on the way.”

“Are you sure I can do this Mr. Watson?”

“I-I don’t know Adams.”

I looked at him. He looked down at the floor and he looked upset. I knew he didn’t really want to sent me to the quest for my terrible dyslexia, and ADHD.

“Go now Adams, get ready for your adventure!” Mr. Watson said.

I went to my cabin and inside I saw Amelia and Michael. Amelia had her bow and arrows, and Michael had some golden apples, his lucky baseball bat.
