Celebrating the third day of spirit week, students were asked to come in dressed as their favorite teacher. Ranging from teachers such as Ms.Katz to Mr. Van Deurs to Mr.Thompson, students showed their spirit by dressing like them.

“I’m wearing Mr.Van Deurs’ band shirt because he is the bomb diggity. I appreciate him because he’s a great teacher and helps me in science,” sophomore James Panagakos said.

Students share who they dressed up as and why they chose to dress up as them.

Aside from dressing up as their favorite teacher, students wrote letters and used other ways to show their appreciation for their teachers.

“I’m dressed as Ms.Katz. I appreciate her because she’s really funny and quirky. She’s really understanding and that makes a comfortable learning environment  plus she’s an amazing physics teacher,” junior Kailey Bosyk said.
