To let the students and parents be aware about their own and their children’s learning, the school decided to have “Meet the teachers” day.

On May 7th, Mrs. Reed and the teachers created a workshop to let the students and parents have the opportunity to meet the teachers.

“We want the parents and the students to be more comfortable and informed about some apps such as pupilpath and also the changes in the SAT in the following year,” parent coordinator Mrs. Reed said.

During the workshop, it was divided into three sessions. Each sessions started at different times and had different topics such as: Pupilpath for families, Twitter in the Classroom and Beyond, College Readiness, The New SAT exam, and many more.

“The topics were interesting that were covered during the night. [But] having it earlier in the year will help so we have more time to inform the students and parents before hand,” math teacher Mrs. Apeler said.

This event was held to help both the students and the parents to be more informative in learning.
