Students struggle with time on the PSATS

To prepare for the SATS the freshman, sophomores, and juniors of the school had to take the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSATS). It is a three hour exam that helps high school students get a taste of what the real exam is like.

“I think its a good opportunity to prepare for the actual test, but I found it hard to finish each section with the limited time given,” junior Alexis Carr said.

On October 15th, students spent the first four periods of the day taking this test.

“I like them because it helps me know what to expect on the SAT, and it lets me know what I need extra help in,” junior Calli Atamian said.

As SATS come closer and closer, students study to prepare themselves. Some practice on their own, while others take the Princeton Review course offered at the school.
