WJPS hosted their Second Annual Spelling Bee on November 15th. The spelling bee was hosted by Ms. Szabo and Mr. Petrotta.
Eighth graders competed against each other during the first period, sixth graders during the second period, and seventh graders during the sixth period.
WJPS eighth grader, Konstantina Beys said, “It was fun to be able to compete against my classmates, I would totally do this again. In my opinion, the words were easy, but not too easy for every contestant to be getting them right.”
WJPS eighth grader, Sofia Camarillo said, “This was definitely an exciting experience for me to compete against each other. I was nervous too, but the nerves eventually went away and I was having fun.”
