One Piece Live-action

Netflix brings One Piece to live action.Monkey D.Luffy is a young pirate who wants to only find the One piece treasure.

He wants to travel the East Blue seas with his own crew, find the One Piece, and become the King of the Pirates. The Netflix adaptation currently has eight episodes and started on August 31st.

Inaki Godoy plays Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd plays Nami, and Mackenyu Arata plays Roronoa Zoro. In addition to Taz Skylar who plays Sanji and Jacob Romero Gibson who plays Usopp.

This manga series is written by Eiichiro Oda and Matt Owens. Steven Maeda brought this manga to live on Netflix.

Each episode is between 49 minutes and 63 minutes depending on the story line plot, costing more than 17 million dollars. The first season will cost around 138 million dollars to produce.

Junior Vanessa Arellano Cortes stated, ”The anime is better than the live action because it’s more interesting to watch.”

Junior Lidia Kraljic stated, ”I enjoy watching the live action more because it was interesting watching the anime brought to life.”
