Uber or Bus?

Uber+or+Bus%3F

If you had to pick one, would you order an Uber or take the bus?

Taking the bus is cheaper, especially if you have a school metro card since it’s free. However, the downside would be that buses won’t always arrive on time.

Uber charges you for your destination, and the car you want, so the prices vary.

The cheaper option is always better.

Parents will always say to take the bus since it is the “safer” option because they feel that Uber can be dangerous.

Anthony Cina, WJPS senior, said, “I prefer Uber because I hate waiting for the bus and Uber always comes quickly.”

WJPS eighth grader, Amanda Rodriguez, stated, “I say the bus because it’s free and my mom doesn’t let me use Uber.”

Thomas Aiello, WJPS senior, commented, “I use the bus every day, I’ve never really used Uber, so I prefer the bus.”

If you have the money, it seems taking an Uber is a relatively good pick, but if you are on a tight budget, the bus will always be a backup choice.
