How organized are you?

How+organized+are+you%3F

Students’ grades could easily rely on how organized they may be because if students cannot present a sense of organization within their work, it can lead to their grade being lowered. For example, some teachers do notebook checks, and may look for specific worksheets that students have been given earlier in the year.

So how organized can we be? Many times students forget certain things in their lockers, leading to disorganization and lost class time.

WJPS junior, Carlo Rolleri stated, “I use filing cabinets to keep myself organized. For the most part, I keep a very clean locker. The thought of unpleasant germs filling up space motivates me to keep my things tidy.”

WJPS junior, Sophia Turner said, “To keep myself organized I have folders in my binder which represent different classes. I keep my locker neat, I don’t particularly like when my things are dirty. In my opinion, I don’t prefer the notebook checks, but they do make the most sense. I think it’s good that teachers are able to keep you in check.”

Using these two students as examples, we could learn to be more organized, and it could be beneficial for our well-being and learning environment.
