Another teacher joins the WJPS staff this year teaching sixth grade English.

Ms. Szabo came to WJPS having previously taught in JHS 194. She is taking over for Ms. Bernhardt, who retired last year.

Ms. Szabo came to this school after hearing it has a good reputation of students who are hardworking and dedicated to learning and staff that genuinely cares about the students.

She wants students to be creatively free to explore and for students to show compassion.

Ms. Szabo believes that students should be challenged and be given the opportunity and freedom to explore creativity.

WJPS sixth grader Elsie Kurshumliu stated, “Ms. Szabo is a very good teacher. I haven’t known her for long, but I believe she will be able to help prepare myself for future classes.”

Ms. Post, a WJPS teacher who works alongside Ms. Szabo stated, “She is very energetic and motivated towards the kids. She pushes them to be successful and is a wonderful person to work with.”

Ms. Szabo can be found in room 234 on the second floor.
