Should the US Stay Out of International Affairs?

Should+the+US+Stay+Out+of+International+Affairs%3F

The United States could be approaching an international crisis when it comes to our position as a nation through diplomatic relations and international warfare, none of that democratic nonsense.

Still, a pressing continuity that plagues the minds of multiple Americans nationwide today, opinions clash as 41% of people who want to stay out of international affairs and roughly 58% of the majority of people who support international affairs argue their case even today.

“I think the US should participate in international affairs…the issue going on in Hong Kong right now that’s dealing with democracy, and the US stands for democracy,” said WJPS junior Vipraal Budhram. People like him believe we need to help those who are in desperate need of our help.

77% who support intervention say economic power is more important than military power, having the country’s best interest in mind in supporting our welfare.

“In my opinion, it depends on which country it is. It could be our ally for years or a country that we don’t know at all, I think we should not be affaired with at all,” says WJPS junior Alex Argyros.

People like him believe aligning ourselves with other countries causes us to engage in military warfare, such as the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, exhausting our resources.
