Philadelphia is not going to have any more fans and the team has fallen to pieces because of the fact they traded away their star player Michael Carter-Williams. The team is a game loss away from the New York Knicks, which can put them in last in the league.
They have potential of being a great team if they kept small forward KJ Mcdaniels and point guard Michael Carter Williams. However with the recent trade deadline, the 76ers took action and sold their players in return for Center Tragic Bronson and Point Guard Isaiah Canaan.
Recently however the 76ers dropped Tragic Bronson so now they have no one. The players they have currently are not capable of even competing in the NBA because they aren’t strong enough and don’t have the skill yet.
“The 76ers are really bad, The only player I like on that team is Nerlens Noel,” freshman Cody Chojar said.
Philadelphia had the chance to have a solid Point Guard Michael Carter, a strong center Joel Embiid, a strong power forward Nerlens Noel, and the potential to pick up a strong small forward in this upcoming 2015 draft Mario Hezonja. It doesn’t make sense why the 76ers gave up Williams, maybe because of the fact he gets injured a lot. Even though he does get injured a lot, his skills should have been able to speak for him and the 76ers should have kept him.
“I had faith in the 76ers next year, I thought they were going to rise up in the standings,” sophomore Vinny O’Brien said.
Philadelphia is going to keep failing and failing each year if they don’t do something smart next season. They better have some ideas in obtaining free agents such as small forward Kevin Durant, or they aren’t going to be winning anytime soon.
