With 2014 slowly coming to an end and a new year coming up it’s time to start thinking of New Year Resolutions. Many people come up with New Year Resolutions because its a chance to “start from scratch”, and also because many people believe that it is a way of bettering themselves.

According to only 45% of  American people make New Year Resolutions and out of that 45% only 8% are actually successful in achieving their New Year Resolutions. Some New Year Resolution’s that students have made this year are as followed.

“My new year resolution is to go to sleep earlier,” sixth grader Hannah Goo said.

“My new year resolution is to get more involved in school and get better grades,” seventh grader Nicole Ceballos said.

“My new year resolution is to save money,” eighth grader Gabrielle Bayconich said.

“My new year resolution is to try and work on everything I wasn’t able to do in the previous year and to try and do better,” freshman Syed Abdul-Khabir said.

“My new year resolution is to actually try in school,” sophomore Emily Campos said.

“My new year resolution is to start eating healthy and working out more often,” junior Daniel Kricheli said.

“My new year resolution is to be a better person and to treat people equally,” senior Anthony Panio said.

These are just some of the new year resolution’s from the student in school. Hopefully they will be able to be a part of the 8% who fulfill their resolutions.
