Students that are interested in attending QueensBorough Community College (QCC) had the opportunity to see the campus at the college’s fall open house. QueensBorough is a great starting college for students looking to receive their A.S. or B.S. degree in their desired major.
“I’m applying to QueensBorough because it’s close and cheap. I’m happy that it has what I’m interested in pursuing,” senior Simon Cho said.
This open house started at 10:30 for check in followed by a welcoming introduction. School representatives spoke about the school community and how connected the school is as a whole. After the introduction prospective students had the choice of going to speak with current students and professors from the school or have a tour of the school.
“QueensBorough is a school just for learning, not hanging out. It’s helped my focus on my education and classes that need attention,” QCC student Matthew Psaltakis said.
