Junior students and their parents gathered in the auditorium gaining more knowledge on the steps for college from the guidance counselor, Mr. Lumetta.

College Workshop for juniors was held on October 9th, 2013 in the auditorium. Students and their parents had the opportunity to get more information on how to get prepared for college and the steps that they need to take in order to get there.

After attending the college workshop, students became worried and nervous. The amount of money that college costs made overwhelmed them.

“I learned that it will be extremely difficult for me to get into college because of the financial aid,” junior Jacob Godoy said.

Getting information on college allowed for the students and the parents to start to prepare for the necessities that the college requires.

“Now that I know more about how I should prepare my daughter for college, I will be following all the recommendations and do as much research as possible to prepare my daughter for college,” parent Monica Korb said.
