Coming June, high school students are only expected to come in the days they have to take the regents they are signed up for, during regents week.
Starting June 16th, the tests begin. Tests are scheduled either at 8am or 12pm. Students will not be able to enter the test room, after being an hour late.
“Start preparing early, break down the material into smaller units and set up a schedule to study the small units early and then start reviewing the big stuff,” math teacher Ms. West said.
Tuesday, June 16th is the U.S history exam at 8am and 12pm is Living Environment.
Wednesday, June 17th at 8am is the Global exam, followed by the Physics and Algebra 1 common core at 12pm.
Thursday, June 18th starts with Earth Science at 8am and end with ELA at 12pm.
Friday, June 19th is Algebra 2/Trig at 8am, with geometry at 12pm.
“I’m taking the global and english regents, but I’m more worried about the english because I have trouble understanding the stories, they make no sense to me,” junior Josabeth Vinas said.
Following regents week, regents are being graded to be prepared for the last day of school on June 26th.
