Three years after its initial release, Squid Game will soon be back with season two on Netflix.
Season two will be released on December 26th and season three, the final season, is expected to be released sometime in 2025.
The new and returning cast was announced. The returning cast being Lee Jung-Jae, playing Seong Gi-Hun or Player 456, Wi Ha-joon playing Hwang Jun-ho or the detective, Lee Byung-hun playing the Front Man, and Gong Yoo playing the Salesman.
The official trailer was released on November 26.
WJPS 12th grader Victoria Sepuiveda said, “I’m excited for it because I loved season one. I’m excited to see what they will bring to the table.”
WJPS 12th grader Rixiery Montoya said, “The second season will definitely bring a lot of questions of who’s running the game now, and likely what will happen to the protagonist. I believe the show will have a lot of interesting plots and maybe surprise deaths we might not expect, even if we know only one person will live.”
