With the release of Squid Game season two coming up, the thriller Netflix show comes to life in New York City.
Located in Midtown Manhattan, it’s a fully immersive experience based on the show where you are the player.
The experience is 60 minutes long. You play five games, some from the show: Red Light Green Light, Glass Bridge, Warships, Marbles, and Jack in the Box.
There is also a store where people can purchase merchandise and Korean food and even play Ddakji with a man in a suit, just like in the show.
The experience opened on October 11th and will close on March 9th, 2025.
WJPS 10th grader Ashley Coello said, “I personally think it seems really cool, but also it seems very dangerous if they’re doing the same games as the show.”
WJPS 10th grader Josiah Williams said, “As a fully immersive experience, it’s pretty cool for people that have watched the show to get the ball rolling again because it was really popular.”
