Fall is here and although we are in a uniform school, we are still allowed to show off are fashion with our sneakers. All across the hall kids are wearing different Nikes, Jordans and Adidas
Many of ‘Hypebeast’ are excited for the fall and the upcoming drops from various companies such as Jordan, A Bathing Ape, and Off-White. I’m sure you will be seeing clothing such as shoes, hoodies, and jackets from those companies all over the school.
I asked people what do they think about sneakers? How does it make your uniform stand out? These are the replies I received. Steven Palaguachi, a WJPS junior said, “I believe that since everyone is wearing the same uniform the only way you are able to stand out from the rest of the kids is with the shoes on your feet. Shoes allow you to be unique and stand out from others.”
I then went on to ask an ex-WJPS classmate Luca Gomez what he thinks on sneakers affecting the uniform. “You can really tell a lot about someone by their sneakers, how much they care about their fit, their style and for some people their personality.”
