Recently, along with bombing Gaza, Israel has started attacking Lebanon too, placing small bombs in areas like supermarkets as well as unleashing deadly strikes on the southern part of the country.
Israel and the Iran-backed organization Hezbollah have struck each other since the October seventh attack by Hamas on Israel, and tensions may lead to a full-blown conflict between Israel and Iran. Israel has issued an evacuation warning for Lebanese citizens as it continued to bombard southern Lebanon.
However, Israel also gave evacuation orders to Palestinians under attack, yet many of them still fell victim to assaults by Israeli forces, since multiple air strikes have occurred in Gaza’s “safe zones.” If Israel’s going to give misleading evacuation orders to Lebanese citizens too, then we should start to worry more about what Israel is exactly plotting.
WJPS 10th grader Khloe Johnson said, “I think they (Israel) shouldn’t be doing that to people. I think it’s really bad, and I think a lot of people should know about that.”
WJPS teacher Ms. Koza commented, “I think there’s wrongdoing on both sides, but I think the people who are suffering the most are the innocents who have nothing to do with the politics of it.”
