Formerly the first pick in the 2006 NBA draft, (Center) Andrea Bargnani is finally showing signs of life after recovering from his recent injury.
Regarded as a “bust.” from most NBA critics, Bargnani has had his best games over his past two contests against the Indiana Pacers on 3/4/15 and 3/7/15. He scored 25 points in the first game and 21 points in the second game respectively.
“Bargnani is pretty good, there must be a reason why he was picked first in the draft,” senior Thelion Simmons said.
Although the Knicks has had their worst season this year, they still have a chance during the 2015 NBA draft to pick up players such as point guard Emmanuel Mudiay, or center Jahlil Okafor. Either way the Knicks would be able to use Bargnani as an essential role player on the team.
“Bargnani can shoot 3’s he is a great shooter for a player his size,” senior Kamani Lawrence said.
Bargnani’s field goal has been excellent over the month of March. Bargnani is averaging 51% field goal percentage, a excellent field goal for a player being a “bust.”
Bargnani has the chance to make the Knicks a better team. By next year if the Knicks make proper actions during free agency and during the draft, the Knicks can become an elite team in the future.
