A child hopes for peace and quiet
and would never expect lies,
But shockingly they are surprised to find judgement and hatred on others inside
Though who may be alike?
when differences frequently cause fights
How will we know where to turn
once devastating truths have been learned
We might feel alone in this big world encountering our own mistakes
We face them so often that it’s not rare to become fake for the sake of another
Just tell me what choice do we have to make when those eyes can see no grace
Or will we all be forced to take this false embrace?
