I observe from afar the crowd in the corner to witness the howls within,
The laughs are wailing at a joke they seem to barely understand.
As if they are just going along with what’s occurring with a lack of comprehension, It’s easy to say that it’s daunting for them to adopt their own judgement and instead copy their kin.
This happens way more frequently than you’d imagine,
A person looks to impress their peers but should not to such a degree.
One’s self should be expressed as they see fit, not how others perceive,
Even though the norm can’t seem to fathom how to make this happen.
Quite frankly, it’s pretty simple to achieve this goal,
Distance yourself from the nonsense told to you, build your own opinion.
Demonstrate your individuality, do yourself this favor,
In the long run this saves you from digging yourself a deeper hole.
