In every road arena, Kobe Bryant is reflecting on 20 years of memories and many great games. This past off-season, Bryant announced that this will be his last season in NBA and has fulfilled every expectation in that time period.
As the Kobe Bryant farewell tour continues, fans continue to celebrate his career at every road game and Chicago was one of the most emotional spots remaining on the Los Angeles Lakers schedule.
Bryant grew up idolizing Michael Jordan and playing in Chicago was always special for Bryant.
The Bulls held, like other teams, held a tribute for Bryant and it was special. “It’s always been different from the first time I played here,” Bryant told the media in Chicago. “There’s such an air. You can feel the electricity in the building, to feel the championships and the history.”
Bryant is enjoying his last hurrah as a Laker, interacting with fans, superstar smiling, joking with other players and most importantly having fun. A lot of people say that he’s an a–h—,” John Wall said. “When he’s stepped on the court you should want to rip someone’s head off, that’s been his mindset. But you’ve got to think, it’s over. It’s his last time playing guys. He’s having fun, he’s enjoying his last ride.”
