As the NLDS and ALDS come to an end, the top four teams, Mets, Cubs, Blue Jays, and Royals all advance to the Championship series. The Blue Jays will take on the Royals while the Cubs take on the Mets.
“Both matchups look to be great. I expect both of them to go to game seven with Toronto and New York heading to the World Series,” junior Anthony Rolleri said.
Toronto will rely on Jose Bautista and Josh Donaldson to lead them to the world series while the Royals will rely on Salvador Perez and their bullpen. The same goes for the Cubs and Mets. Chicago will rely on Kyle Schwarber and Jake Arrieta, while the Mets will rely on Matt Harvey and Jacob Degrom.
The Mets and Royals will have the home field advantage so they will play four games at Citi Field and Kauffman Stadium while three on the road at Wrigley Field and Rogers Centre, respectively.
