Former WJPS student Kimberly Polanco has come back to WJPS as an IEP paraprofessional.
After graduating from WJPS, she didn’t picture herself coming back to WJPS to become a paraprofessional.
During her years at WJPS, Polanco was known for her kindness.
She was always helping others around the school, inspired by her teachers.
WJPS seventh grader, Angel Davila said, “She helps me get ready for high school, very patient with a kid like me. Helps me calm down when needed. Nothing better than Ms. Polanco.”
Her students say that she helps them with growth academic wise and with the real world too.
Polanco stated, “she likes to roll with the punches and bring out the brighter side of things,`” demonstrating the type of person she is inside and outside of school.
Due to the fact she came to WJPS previously and graduated, she was confident enough to encourage other students to want to do better and graduate on time.
