After three years, Stranger Things is officially coming out with a new season.

Season five is set to air in late 2025. Season four released in May of 2022.

It will be released in three different volumes. Volume one is coming out on November 26th, Volume two on Christmas day, and finally the last part on December 31st.

The trailer for this season was released in July, and there will be a total of eight episodes this season. 

Viewers can watch season five as well as all the other seasons on Netflix with a subscription.

WJPS 12th grader Johanne Castrejon said, “I am very excited for season five to finally come out after waiting a while. I have watched all the seasons leading up to this.”

The main cast remains the same starring Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfeild, and Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson.

WJPS 12th grader Panagiota Sfeliniotis said, “I’m not a big fan of Stranger Things, but I know that it is really popular and a lot of people enjoy watching it.”
