Terror On Totten was a haunted house located in Bayside, Queens. It was inside of Fort Totten. It was a two story house in which NYPD officers volunteered to dress up in Halloween costumes in an attempt to scare anyone who came into the house.
This attraction had no cost and was available Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 11pm. It was recently closed due to the NYC Parks Department taking over the building and wanting to lease it to other groups.
There is a location in Westbury, inside the Samanea New York Mall, where a haunted house is being held. Tickets range from $15-60 dollars. The event’s title is “Nightmare in Nassau” and it is open during the whole month of August.
Frank Digiscare, creator of the haunted house, said, “They said they want to lease it for somebody to put a gym or pickleball in it. But we know that will never happen.”
The haunted house was open for eight years with five of them being in Fort Totten.
