The NBA regular season is about to start and here are the upcoming games. On October 22nd, the New York Knicks with their newest addition Karl-Anthony Towns will play the reigning NBA champions the Boston Celtics at 7:30PM.
Later that day, it will be the reigning NBA cup tournament champions from last year’s regular season the Los Angeles Lakers playing the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10:00 PM Eastern Time This will be the debut of Bronny James in the regular season of the NBA playing alongside his father Lebron James.
Then the following day the Brooklyn Nets will play against the Atlanta Hawks to start off their regular season. This will also be the debut of the first pick of the NBA draft last year, Atlanta’s Zaccharie Risacher.
WJPS 10th grader Andrew Piedra said, “With Karl-Anthony Towns now on the Knicks and all the other trades that happened it’ll be interesting to see how this season unfolds.¨
WJPS 11th grader Nicholas Zubovic said, “With Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks and now Karl-Anthony Towns to the Knicks it’s definitely going to be an unusual season especially for Golden State.¨
