Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed 2015 with the birth of their firstborn child, just before the new year.
Page Six reported that the former the Gossip Girl star gave birth to her baby near her home in Bedford, New York. Page Six was also told that their child was delivered earlier than expected, but Lively and her baby are both healthy and well.
“It’s so exciting that [Lively] became an admirable person out of TV. She didn’t devote her life only out of TV, and it’s great that she decided to begin out of entertainment,” senior Breanna Malave said.
Lively announced her pregnancy via her website, Preserve, on October 6th, 2014. She made the announcement within her letter, “Preserve Celebrations: Falling for Families,” which introduces that the site is mainly about families.
It also celebrates expecting mothers all around the world, with a photo sequence of them all throughout the article. The last photo in the series included soon-to-be mother Lively, which was her exact announcement.
“I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have lots of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it’s just the excitement of that finally being here,” Lively said.
The sex or name of the baby has yet to be announced, since Lively and Reynolds have not yet commented on the birth of their first born.
