One of the greatest Pokemon generations finally gets its remake.
With all their glory, Pokemon, such as Rayquaza, make their return in a game in which not only the visuals have been improved, but also with the introduction of new game mechanics such as mega evolution.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’s graphics have been tremendously changed from a 2D RPG (Role Playing Games) to a full 3D experience. Thanks to the technological advancements of the 3DS, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire look as great as ever.
“With the new 3DS, I love how Nintendo managed to recreate my childhood and turn it into something amazing. I am really going to have a pleasure playing the game,” junior Chris Stenna said.
In addition, Ruby and Sapphire have successfully remade every single important aspect of the previous game, ten years ago. Gym Leaders and Champions of the game make their anticipated return as well as a new character that will add more depth to the storyline of the game.
Several new pokemon now have a new evolution called a “Mega Evolution”. 19 new Pokemon have this upgrade and this leads to several augmentations in their stats, abilities, and power in their movesets.
“I am excited to what happens when the game releases and how the new mega pokemon will be used. There are lots of pokemon with mega evolution that have defensive stats which I like. Hopefully I can use them the way they’re supposed to be used,” teacher Mr. Van Deurs said.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is expected to be released on Friday November 21, 2014. Many fans are expected to fill their local stores, seeking to purchase this long-awaited game.
