With the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus out, a lot of people were excited for the all new larger and thinner phones that came with the new iOS 8 (apple operating system) for all apple mobile devices.
But there has been user reports that the phones could easily bend by just keeping it in a back pocket and sitting down or by applying force to it. In most cases, this would cause deformation but also it can break the screen and internal components to the phone.
But the new devices have a weaker reinforcement than the previous iPhone models, which has lead to it’s design being more vulnerable than the thick structure of the older iPhones.
Although other phones from companies like Samsung, LG, and Motorola have stronger structures and require slightly more force to bend than the new iPhones, they too still break. The iPhone 6 isn’t the weakest one on the market it’s actually the HTC One (M8).
“I won’t be getting it. It looks cooler than the iPhone 5, but if it bends its not worth it as there’s not much change to it,” junior Joshua Cantero said.
According to Consumer Reports there’s nothing to worry about with moderate usage of the new phones a bend or damage to the phone is unlikely to occur.
If any damage occurs on the phone, consumers can repair it at any local Best buy store with Geek Squad Protection.
