The Maze Runner is an action packed movie full of suspense that leaves the audience craving for more. The Maze Runner, directed by Wes Ball, includes a group of boys who live in what they call the Glade, and tried to escape the ever changing dangerous maze. While in the Glade, they had no memory of how or why they were there, they just knew that they needed to get out.
The boys have three rules they live by. Rule 1, do your part. Rule 2, never harm another Glader. Rule 3, never go beyond the walls. Thomas, played by Dylan O’Brien, is different from the rest. He’s curious which is what gives the movie the suspense factor, because of his actions caused by curiosity.
“I think Dylan O’Brien played a great role in this movie. Not only did it show he’s a great actor but he fit the role perfectly,” movie goer Sandra Gonzales said.
The plot twists and the graphics of the movie had made it all worth while. It left the audience hanging off the edge of their seats. Throughout the movie, key themes presented were betrayal, loyalty, and trust which tested the boys limits, lives, and friendships.
“The action in the movie was amazing. I wasn’t expecting it to be that action filled, but the suspense had made it all the better. It was a really intense movie, with a lot of twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting,” movie goer Steven Kim said.
The Maze Runner is a must see movie for anyone who is willing to go through the trials and tribulations of the mysterious maze.
