The Blazer
NYC has been under a lot of changes and controversy surrounding the states speed limit. Local streets it used to be a maximum of 30 since 1965, but now it has been reduced to 25, if theres no other sign stating the limit. This change was done because of the recent tests about the % or chance a person has to live if they get hit by a moving vehicle at a certain speed limit. Drawing by Jose Carpinter.
