Stars opening up

Throughout the years it appear that many celebrities have been bottling up a big secret from the public, moments in their past that even occurred 15 years ago. Sexual allegation is sexual behavior without consent or with force to someone from either the same or opposite gender or age. This is what many stars have kept away from the public eye but now they are all coming out and sharing their stories. But why now? Why not then? Not only are celebrities sharing their stories but there are a few who are being accused themselves. For example James Franco spoke up about this incident.

“I’m embarrassed and I guess I’m just a model of how social media is tricky… It’s a way people meet each other today, but what I learned… you don’t know who’s on the other end.” The famous actor stated.

This is showing that not all of these allegations are true. Sometimes those accusing are doing it for the attention or it was just a big misunderstanding. Woody Allen has been suspected of having sexual relations with minors since 1992. Allen’s adopted daughter accused him of sexual assault.

“I think it’s sick and people shouldn’t hide serious situations like this and they should not be afraid to tell the truth.” Junior, Sonia Guglietta said.

“The fact that people had no courage to step up for their stance shows that they were blocked by what society believed. I am happy that people are coming out now and stating their opinion because they are showing individual power and I still think it’s never too late.” Junior, Faith Ki said.

Overall it is never too late to speak up although you should not be scared or embarrassed we all need to understand that this takes time and strength for a person to publicly open up.
