Comparing GTA on new gen vs. old gen

With conflicting views on whether GTA 5 is better on new gen (PS4/Xbox One) or old gen (PS3/Xbox 360), players are forced to raise the question, “What are the specs pertaining to these systems?”
GTA 5 was released on September 17th, 2013 for both PS3 and Xbox 360. For new gen, GTA 5 was released on November 18th, 2016. GTA 5 on PS4 is no different than GTA 5 on Xbox One.
“The only thing that I hate about GTA 5 on PS4 is that the servers are laggier,” senior Jonathan Baffo said.
However, GTA 5 is different in new gen and old gen. There are a lot of new features in the new gen, which is why it is arguably better. For instance, there is a higher player cap on the new gen. With the player limit of up to 30 players as opposed to the original 22, players can now participate in races with more people, hire more people in their organization, and much more. In addition, new gen has better graphics and matchmaking, compared to the old gen.
“Finding lobbies with less people for CEO missions is hard on new gen, which is the only thing that sucks about it,” senior Justin Tom said.
In contrast, GTA 5 can be considered better on old gen. There are less hackers as well as players compared to new gen, which is better because players can do CEO missions without the interference of other players. The more players there are in a lobby, the more likely someone is to get attacked during a mission. In addition, the money glitch still exists in old gen, which can be manipulated to benefit players on new gen.
“What I do is that I do the money glitch on old gen, then transfer the money to new gen so that I can keep my character data and money but on a better console. Easy,” senior Nazeer Hashimi said.
With both sides offered, there is a beneficial interaction with both the new gen and the old gen. Players can do the money glitch and do CEO missions on old gen, then character transfer through the iFruit app. Once this is done, players can then buy estates, apartments, cars, guns, and more with the character transfer.
Even though GTA 5 is three and a half old and is on both consoles, a lot of benefits are offered through the interaction of both.
