All registered voters will be able to vote in the Presidential Primary Election. New York voters will be able to vote between 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 19th.

“I will be voting because it’s important to vote, so your voice is heard. If you don’t vote, you can’t complain,” mathematics teacher Mr. Gardner said.

Only registered voters from either the Democratic party or Republican party are able to vote. Voters have to register with one of the parties one month in advance in order to be able to participate in the Presidential Primary.

“The candidate I support is in the primaries. Primaries and caucuses matter too, which is why I’m voting on April 19th,” senior Barbara Kasomenakis said.

Last day to register for the absentee ballot is April 18th. A person can qualify for an absentee ballot if they are absent on Election day because they are disabled or ill, caretakers of a disabled persons, patients at a Veterans’ Admin Hospital, or in prison after being convicted for something that was not a crime.
