Anti-feminist blogger, Daryush Valizadeh, known as Roosh V started a group with other anti-fems which is called “Return of Kings” created in 2012.

The purpose of the group is “I teach guys how to be sexually attractive. This includes being confident and masculine, traits that women say they don’t love, but respond favorably to anyway,” Roosh said.

Roosh has expressed his feelings about both men and women in books that he has written. He has also written books about how to pick up women and his own personal interactions with women such as Roosh’s Brazil Compendium: Pickup Tips, City Guides, and Stories and Roosh’s Argentina Compendium: Pickup Tips, City Guides, and Stories.

“I feel that Roosh looks at women as objects instead of human. I know that everyone has their own opinion on feminism and equality but he knew that he was going to be attacked after posting his thoughts online,” senior Adriana Anez said.

Roosh also expressed his thoughts on rape saying that rape should be legal on private property. He believes that women should be taught how to protect themselves just like how they protect their phones and purses.

“By attempting to teach men not to rape, what we have actually done is teach women not to care about being raped, not to protect themselves from easily preventable acts, and not to take responsibility for their actions,” the blogger said.

His group created 165 meetups around the world in places such as Canada, Germany, multiple states in America and several other locations. A couple of days later Roosh announced that the meetup was cancelled after the safety was threatened “I can no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who want to attend on February 6, especially since most of the meetups can not be made private in time,” Roosh wrote on his blog.

“I think it’s funny how he was being all tough and saying that his group will not be stopped but at the end when he was threatened by people such as politicians and a women’s boxing team he backed out,” senior Alexis Carr said.
