Indie-pop artist Ashley Frangipane, known as Halsey, announced her Badlands tour after she released her debut album, Badlands.

Part one of her tour includes 21 US dates which all sold out within half an hour. Frangipane also released tickets for VIP Camp Badlands for fans to have a special experience.

On October 23rd she played her second sold out show at Webster Hall in New York City. Fans lined up throughout the day waiting to get a good spot when the doors opened. Halsey kicked off the show with her songs “Gasoline”, “Hold Me Down” and “Castle”, showing fans a dark side of Badlands.

“It was honestly worth it to line up for a few hours because I was so close to the front. The show was more than amazing there was so much energy in the room I wish it never ended,” senior Adriana Anez said.

She continued the show with her other songs such as “Haunting”, “Roman Holiday”, and “Hurricane”. As she started performing the first song she ever released, Ghost, Halsey announced that the radio host who first put the song on the radio was at the show.

At the end of the show, confetti was flying everywhere. The confetti wasn’t regular confetti, the confetti was fake badlands money which had a picture of Halsey on it.

“I love the vibe at concerts and I love how creative Halsey is because [she]brought confetti to another level and made the whole experience so cool with all the lights. I will definitely go to more of her concerts to see her perform,” fan Rachel said.
