“The purpose of this trip is to help us with our project and Percy Jackson and greek mythology and this helped me have a better understanding of it,” sixth grader Anthony DiMarcello said.
On Wednesday, October 4th class 603 and half of 602 attended the trip. The rest of 602 and 631 will go to the MET on Friday, October 6th.
“It was pretty interesting learning new things about the gods because it’s cool to see what we’re actually learning about and hearing stories behind the art,” sixth grader Nicole DiFazio said.
The assignment for this trip was to write about one particular piece of art that each student really liked, write about it and explain why they picked that piece of art.
