WJPS’s annual Meet the Teacher Night is a night when teachers get to meet their students’ parents, to “put a face to a name,” and to learn first handedly what the teachers expectations are for the students, according to parent coordinator Mrs. Reed.

On September 30th, students’ parents came to the school and got to “Meet the Teacher”. A few teachers even did a demo lesson in front of a group of parents. Many parents showed up to learn more about what their child will doing in class.

While some may believe that it’s never too early to meet the teacher, others disagree.

“The year just started and we have a lot of the same teachers,” junior Morisa Mcaulay said.

“If it’s necessary then I’ll just go to Parent Teacher Conferences,” Mcaulay’s mother, Jennifer Mcaulay said.
