With the school year coming to an end, the PTA organized a dinner for the junior students who are on track to college. The dinner took place on April 28th, to celebrate the junior’s hard work.

As students and parents arrived at the dinner and were greeted by Ms. Schneider. After everyone found a seat, the food was ready to be served. For dinner there was a Chinese Food buffet.

“I thought it was a lot of fun. I loved socializing with my peers and teachers. The food was [also] delicious,” junior Alyssa Striano said.

After dinner was completed, Ms. Schneider, Mr. Jurman, Ms. Katz and Ms. Lueth, gave some speeches. These speeches were congratulatory speeches to the students and to tell them and their parents how proud they were of their hard work.

“I thought it was really nice for my parents to interact with my friends parents and to meet some of my teachers,” junior Marcella Orlando said.

Dinner ended with dessert consisting of cake, cupcakes, cookies, and coffee. At the end of the night, both students and parents alike had a fun time socializing, eating and celebrating all of their hard work.

“I like that the students are honored for being on track and I think that should happen more often,” teacher Ms. Apeler.
