Preparing for the upcoming SATs can be hard, but with the right amount of time and dedication you could see exceptional results. The SAT test helps tell how prepared a student is for college and often plays a role in the admissions process.

First, it’s important to make yourself familiar with the exam. You can do that by looking at old tests, their structure, and different subjects in the test.

Second, asking a teacher or tutor for guidance can give you even better insight on how to prepare and what to expect. They can offer more personalized ways for you to study because they know your strengths and weaknesses.

WJPS teacher Mr. Tesler said, “I think the best thing to do would be to go back and look at old exams and practice SATs. SAT courses seem to be the best most proven method of being successful on the SAT.”

WJPS 11th grader Aisha Ismail said, “I think students should prepare by using things like Khan Academy because they have different sections for different subjects that can help you. I’m preparing by going tutoring for math and taking vocabulary quizzes for English.

Overall, preparing for SATs takes careful planning and effort. Familiarizing yourself with the format, studying specific subjects, and getting help from teachers are some ways you can achieve great scores on your SATs.
