Return of Jurassic

Jurassic Park Survival was teased in December 2023 with a trailer that shows what the game may be like. Though neither the trailer nor did the game developers hint at or give any release date.

The Jurassic Park franchise has been around since 1990 starting with the book written by Michael Crichton, with the book having sold more than one million copies. 

With there being multiple movies and games of the franchise Jurassic Park this is the first game with

“park” in the title since the 2010s, with the ones between labeled with the Jurassic World title.

Being made by Saber Interactive and partnered with Universal games, the game is going to be a first person sandbox game that takes place on Isla Nublar or the original Jurassic Park island. 

The story takes place after the park opens as  inGen scientist Dr. Maya Joshi is unable to leave the island. The game will have interactive challenges and game routes which mostly involve the park’s dinosaurs. 

WJPS teacher Mr. Andrejkovics said, “I would hope for the game to heavily relate to the original movie.”

WJPS 11th grader Aisha Ismail said, “Since the franchise gained so much attention, I would hope that the game stays true to the original movie with a similar plot.”
