Confidence is Key

Confidence helps people speak for themselves when they need to stand up for themselves. Despite what someone thinks of another’s actions, people won’t judge them, especially when they have nice classmates and teachers. 

Some people get jealous because they don’t have confidence so they try to hurt others feelings on purpose, but it is best to ignore people like that.

Confidence is important in school because students will have to participate in class and other events in school. Being confident in school will help one communicate with classmates when working together. 

This can also help with communicating with teachers when someone needs help with homework or classwork. Confidence also helps one speak for themselves when needed.

WJPS senior, Manal Assi said, “ I think confidence is important in school because it helps one do well academically and also to be able to ask for help when needed.”

WJPS senior, Nicole Dasilva said, “The school always makes you think about yourself, it makes people prepare for the future. And has people know their standards and how to be respectful.”
