Revealing Resolutions

By: Daniela Silva, Community Reporter

New Year’s resolutions are goals that people set for themselves in hopes of accomplishing them some time in the upcoming year.

There are several different views from the WJPS community when it comes to ambitions for the new year as 2021 is coming close to an end.

“My resolution is to dedicate more time to myself and be able to get some of the things I’ve been wanting to do in my personal life done, such as playing video games or doing DIY projects around the house,” commented WJPS teacher Mr. Reff.

WJPS junior Juliana Lopinto stated, “My resolutions are to get in shape, be more productive, clean more, wake up early, stay on top of my school work, and be wise when spending money.”

Dayssy Acuahuitl, a WJPS junior said, “I want to grow as a person and become a better me; I also want to push myself just the right amount and try new things.”

“I want to break limits, go for every single opportunity there is available that can be helpful in the long run, and take any opportunities that people toss to the side,” commented WJPS sophomore Dean Tirado.

WJPS paraprofessional Ms. Das stated, “I want to see students be more prompt in answering questions during class, and continue to be successful and hardworking in every subject next year just like how they’re doing now.”
