Now that Thanksgiving break is here, it’s time for all the upcoming assignments that we will have over the break. 

Whenever we have breaks for holidays, many teachers decide it’s best to give us more assignments since we will have more free time on our hands.

Teachers should understand that we also need breaks sometimes, and it can be very stressful when they give us many assignments. It’s very overwhelming and really dreadful. 

These breaks are time that we get to relax and just spend time with our families, but instead we can’t because we have a deadline looming over.

Lianna Zuvich, a senior at WJPS stated, “The holidays are supposed to be spent with family.”

WJPS junior Briana Peña said, “Teachers should give less work since we have off.”

It would be beneficial to our mental health if we get a break once in a while just to enjoy the little things in life. 

We should not have to worry about all the assignments that we have to do over the break and it would also be advantageous to the teachers for the sole purpose of not worrying about grading.
