Dealing with your emotions can have a toll on your mental health. Rather than bottling them up, journaling is one of the many efficient ways to manage them so they won’t interfere with your daily life.

No one enjoys being overwhelmed. Not only can it get suffocating, but it can ruin your whole mood. So organizing your thoughts and writing them down can ease the stress you are facing.

Journaling can be therapeutic, you have the ability to be deeply connected with your inner-self. It’s important to prioritize your needs, concerns, and feelings in order to have a healthy and stable relationship with yourself.

WJPS senior Nyla Briones, said, “It has a positive impact on my mental health and it helps my mind to stay clear and organized.

Naomi Long, a senior at WJPS also said, “Journaling has helped me express my thoughts instead of keeping them bundled. I no longer keep them in.”

For those who never tried journaling, you can always start small. Writing little notes can inspire you into making this a habit.
