Revenge is the dish best served cold by the Pizza Guy

It must be great to be Point Guard Isaiah Thomas. Thomas had a great revenge game against his former team, Phoenix.
Thomas was a valuable guard and sixth man on the Phoenix Suns. During his tenure, Phoenix was the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Unfortunately, there were problems in the roster and office of the Suns. Phoenix was well known for having a very crowded backcourt. The two starting guards previously for Phoenix was Point Guard Goran Dragic and Shooting Guard Eric Bledsoe.
“It was very depressing to see both Dragic and Thomas leave the Suns. Having three quality point guards on one team made thing very interesting when I watched Phoenix. I wonder what lies ahead for them,” sophomore Pedro Maldonado said.
In a shocking move, both Thomas and Dragic were traded to the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat respectively. Fans were already aware of Dragic’s coming departure, however they did not expect to see Thomas traded as well.
“That’s the business of the NBA. It’s tough. I was surprised and shocked by the move but I can’t control it. All I can control is go out there and give it my all. I thought I would be here longer but they had other plans. I wish them the best,” Thomas said.
Thomas’s new home in Boston has him in a similar predicament. Boston’s starting backcourt consists already of Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley.
Ultimately, it was Thomas that was able to extract revenge on his former team. Thomas scored 21 points and seven dimes as he made a dagger trey and free-throw to seal the victory over his former club.
“It felt good to beat the team that traded you away. I just love the big moment. I want to be the hero,” Thomas said.
Deliveries are being made as the “Pizza Guy” Thomas is averaging 21 points, three treys, three rebounds, five assists and 1.5 steals in the last two games played with Boston both played games in less than 30 minutes.
Things are looking up for Thomas as he continues to play at an high level and prove to his former teams that he can truly deliver.
