A facial recognition system is technology that can identify or verify a person from a digital image or a video frame from a video source.

Facial recognition is also described as Biometric Artificial Intelligence based on an application that can identify a person by analyzing patterns based on the person’s facial textures and shapes. 

Facial recognition software has other forms of identification like voice, iris, or fingerprint identification. These identifications are in a computer that someone who works for the government has access to. 

Today facial recognition uses a real need for large new images and video datasets to use to train the machine learning systems to meet the incredible demand for AI products.

Facial recognition technology is already being used to help with searches for criminal suspects and with a judgment of job interviews.
