There is a new event in the discovery playlist for Rainbow Six Siege called the “Road to S.I.” It started on January 25th and will be ending on February 18th. This is a rotation of all the current playable maps, as well as rule from the Rainbow Six Pro League.

It includes the maps Clubhouse, Coastline, Consulate, Border, Bank, Oregon, and Villa. It also includes Operator bans. This means each side can ban an attacking and defending operator.

However, there is no sixth pick. A sixth pick is when a member on either side of the match changes their operators without the other team knowing who they have chosen. There are also premium event packs.

The packs include a loadout for Mira, Thatcher, Dokkaebi, Pulse, Ash, and Doc. 30% of the profit made from the packs are added to the Six Invitational for 2019 where pro league players from all continents are brought to Montreal, Canada to battle for the two million dollar prize pool.

“I think the event is a good way to introduce pro league to casual players,” said Julian Duran, a sophomore at World Journalism Preparatory School. “I hope they make it an official mode in the game.”
